Dear Friends,

As you know, Geriatric Oncology has attained a stature where there is significant interest and activity across the globe and in Asia as well. Its growing importance, led to the development of The International Geriatric Oncology Society (SIOG), - which was founded in 2000. Subsequently the specialty has progressed furtherwith the development of several Geriatric Oncology journals and weekly virtual meetings in this field.

Our AGOS society was established in 2020 and has members from 16 countries, representing 2139 people (27.11 % of worlds population) 

​

We therefore feel it is the right time to come together as a medical society dedicated to this field. 

​

We invite all interested doctors to join us in this endeavour by becoming members of the Asian Geriatric Oncology Society. 

​

If you are interested in participating in the Geriatric Oncology Distance Learning Series, please contact us by email (AsianGOSociety@gmail.com) with your special area of interest in the Geriatric Oncology field.

We also invite suggestions for the first annual conference of AGOS proposed in 2023.
